With Twitter slowly dying (I refuse calling the platform X), because of a lot of decisions by Elon Musk, I am among the many people, that try to find another way of keeping in touch with royalty watchers and fellow journalists. Mastodon didn’t really work for me, BlueSky is a bit better and I found a few very nice cultural minded people there. Instagram and TikTok are not really interesting for me most of the time. So what else? Finally today, 14 December 2023, Meta has made Threads available in the European Union also. So what did I do this afternoon: I made myself a Threads account. It is not really exciting there yet, but I at least found back more of my (former) Twitter friends there, than elsewhere.
