On 20 March 2024 it is 90 years ago since Queen Emma of the Netherlands died. For the Dutch magazine Royalty, issue 2/2024 I wrote an article for it with the title “Redding van Oranje kwam uit Arolsen” (The Saviour of Orange came from Arolsen), which is an article about the (present) princely family zu Waldeck und Pyrmont, the family Queen Emma was born into.
